EPA has granted approval to the White Night Festival, Melbourne for an extension of operating hours.
We’ve permitted an eight hour extension of operating hours, allowing the event to operate from 11:00pm Saturday 22 February 2014 to 7:00am on 23 February 2014.
The event is of social significance, showcasing Melbourne to the world and celebrating the city’s commitment to art, music and culture.
EPA made the assessment under clause 27(b) of the State Environment Protection Policy (Control of Music Noise from Public Premises) No. N-2.
