EPA has alerted local schools and industry that weather conditions could lead to increased dust in Brooklyn today.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) is forecasting northerly winds, weather conditions often associated with poor air quality in Brooklyn.
Industry has been asked to take mitigation measures to stop dust being raised from their site.
