Weather could lead to increased dust in Brooklyn

21 Oct 2014

EPA has alerted local schools and industry that tomorrow’s weather conditions could lead to increased dust in Brooklyn, particularly in the morning.

The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting strong (up to 40 km/hr) and consistent northerly winds. These weather conditions are often associated with poor air quality in Brooklyn.

Industry has been asked to take mitigation measures to stop dust being raised from their site.
