Routine maintenance continues on two Latrobe Valley air stations

10 Apr 2015

Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) advises that routine servicing and maintenance is continuing on two air monitoring stations in the Latrobe Valley today.

Work will be conducted on the fine particulate matter (PM2.5) instruments of the Moe, and south of Morwell air monitoring stations between approximately 8am to midnight.

This follows on from routine maintenance at Traralgon air monitoring station yesterday.

While all efforts will be undertaken to minimise disruption, the presentation of data on EPA’s online Hourly air quality data table may be temporarily impacted for a few hours.

Fine particulate matter readings from Churchill, Traralgon and east of Morwell will remain unaffected during today’s maintenance. All other monitoring data from the Latrobe Valley stations will also remain unaffected.
