Moe and Morwell East temporarily not displaying data

24 Apr 2015

EPA is experiencing temporary issues with the way values for PM2.5 is displayed on our air quality web page for Moe and Morwell East.

PM2.5 for Moe will be taken off-line in a planned outage from 6pm Friday the 24 April. The instrument will still be monitoring air quality and reporting data to EPA.

PM2.5 for Morwell East sometimes does not display a reading for PM2.5. This is temporary and is due to very low levels of particulates and a high level of moisture. This results in a very low average which is not displayed. The instrument will still be monitoring air quality and reporting data to EPA.

Other PM2.5 readings at Morwell South and Traralgon are also showing very low levels as a result of the rain earlier today. Today’s air quality forecast for the Latrobe Valley remains good to very good.
