Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) is expecting periods of poor air quality in Brooklyn over the coming days due to hot, dry and windy weather being forecast.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast northerly winds for the next three days, which are often associated with poor air quality in Brooklyn.
EPA has contacted industry in the area and urged them to implement dust management plans to ensure businesses do not contribute to poor air quality in the area.
