Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) is holding a community meeting to hear directly from Korumburra community members on ongoing environmental compliance at the Burra Foods facility.
As part of responding to the community's concerns, EPA is holding the community meeting to:
- provide the community with the opportunity to hear more about EPA's activities and EPA's role in regulating facilities like Burra Foods, and
- provide a forum for EPA to hear directly from community members.
This meeting will be focused on EPA's regulatory role and current environmental compliance at the Burra Foods facility and not the South Gippsland Planning Amendment C99 that is subject to another formal process through the South Gippsland Shire Council.
