Mooroolbark air quality reading inaccurate

19 Sep 2015

Environment Protection Authority Victoria’s (EPA) Mooroolbark air monitoring station is currently showing a very poor reading for PM 2.5 which is inaccurate. This is due to a faulty piece of equipment.

The reading will be removed from the website today while EPA work to rectify the situation. Other readings at the station indicate that air quality in the area is normal.

Air quality in Melbourne continues to be good to very good today.
