EPA forecasts smoke to cross Dandenong

18 Jan 2016

Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) modelling has shown smoke from the Crib Point fire has the potential to impact on air quality in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.

EPA expects to see higher than usual levels of PM2.5 particles at its Dandenong air monitoring station later this evening due to smoke that will likely be visible.

Given the ongoing nature of the incident and the possibility of change, the community is advised to check www.emergency.vic.gov.au for the most current incident advice.
