Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) has continued work regarding a red substance spotted in a local creek flowing into the Murray River, to the east of the Echuca-Moama Bridge.
The Shire of Campaspe and contractors have completed remedial works to the satisfaction of EPA, and the creek now appears to have been returned to its original state.
EPA will continue its investigation to determine what the substance is and where it came from.
If any community member has information regarding the substance and its origin please contact EPA on 1300 EPA VIC or via our website.
