Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) is aware of an incident generating significant amounts of smoke in the area of Leakes Rd and Beattys Rd, near Melton.
CFA is also aware of the fire, which involves a large pile of palm trees being burnt on a nearby rural property, and is working with the property owner.
