Application of environment protection principles to EPA's approvals process

This publication explains how we expect project proponents to consider the environment protection principles when developing proposals and preparing applications for an EPA approval. It is most relevant to works approvals under the Environment Protection Act and is a revised version of the draft guideline (publication 1554) that was released for comment in October 2013. (Read the key comments received on the draft guideline and EPA’s responses to them at http://www.epa.vic.gov.au/our-work/licences-and-approvals/improving-the-system/approvals-reform/apply-environment-protection-principles.)
