EPA Reiterates PFAS Advice for Heart Morass
Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) is reminding duck hunters in the Gippsland area about its advice not to consume PFAS (per- and poly-fluorinated alkyl substances) affected eel, carp and duck taken from the Heart Morass area. This includes any part of the animals, including duck breast.

PFAS National Environmental Management Plan now available
MEDIA RELEASE ON BEHALF OF THE HEADS OF AUSTRALIA’S EPAs
The Victorian EPA has led a process with the heads of all State and Territory EPAs and the Australian Government to tackle PFAS (per-and poly-fluoroalkyl substances). The release of the National Environmental Management Plan for PFAS will help protect human health and the environment.
