• 15 Mar 2018 EPA Reiterates PFAS Advice for Heart Morass Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) is reminding duck hunters in the Gippsland area about its advice not to consume PFAS (per- and poly-fluorinated alkyl substances) affected eel, carp and duck taken from the Heart Morass area.   The Victorian EPA has led a process with the heads of all State and Territory EPAs and the Australian Government to tackle PFAS (per-and poly-fluoroalkyl substances). The release of the National Environmental Management Plan for PFAS will help protect human health and the environment.
