EPA fines Incitec Pivot more than $15000 for non-compliant discharges
Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) has fined Incitec Pivot Ltd (IPL) more than $15,000 for discharging an estimated 1.7 million litres of treated wastewater and untreated stormwater into Corio Bay from its North Shore premises between July and September that did not comply with the conditions of the company’s EPA licence.

EPA issues Brooklyn tyre company notice for illegal stockpile
Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) has issued Brooklyn company Tyre Lug Services (Barro Group Pty Ltd) with a notice that requires about 10,000 waste tyres from trucks, earthmovers and dump trucks to be separated to ensure community safety.

EPA notice ensures Dandenong South tyre stockpile removal
An Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) notice issued to a Dandenong South company has resulted in a stockpile of over 12,000 whole tyres and about 200 bags of shredded tyres being removed from an industrial site.

Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) has fined a Thomastown company more than $7,500 for storing about 11,000 tyres of various sizes at its premises without an appropriate licence.

EPA grants Alcoa Point Henry notice extension
