EPA issues air quality alert for Brooklyn
EPA advises schools, councils and businesses in the Brooklyn area of likely poor air quality on Tuesday, 29 April 2013, particularly in the morning between 7am and 10am, clearing to good in the afternoon. The Bureau of Meteorology forecasts light winds which may cause pollution to accumulate in the local area during the morning.

Latrobe River catchment water quality report
EPA, in conjunction with the Centre for Aquatic Pollution Identification and Management (CAPIM), investigated two potential sources of pollution – chemical run off to waterways from potato farming and plantation forestry. This publication reports EPA’s findings from the investigation.

Nuplex ordered to pay over Wangaratta spill
