EPA fines Campbellfield company for illegal sediment discharge in Tarneit
Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) has fined a Campbellfield construction company almost $8000 for illegally discharging sediment-laden water from a Tarneit site into the Growling Grass Frog conservation zone that flows into Davis Creek.

Costly decision for contractors
Two contractors who allowed at least four loads of industrial waste to be dumped in Freshwater Creek have been fined a combined $10,000 after an investigation by Environment Protection Authority (EPA) and Surf Coast Shire.

Seymour man convicted for industrial waste dumping
A Seymour man who allowed industrial waste to be dumped on his property and later burnt it, has been convicted, placed on a 12-month good behaviour bond and ordered to pay Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) costs of $1000.

Australian Paper – EPA public meeting report now online
After receiving a works approval application from Paper Australia Pty Ltd (Australian Paper) on 25 May 2018, Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) held a community conference, known as a Section 20B Conference. Australian Paper lodged the works approval application seeking to develop a large-scale energy from waste facility in Maryvale, Latrobe Valley, Victoria.
